Terms, Conditions & Policies of Resource Submissions

(1) I authorise TSFX to publish on its website any of the materials relating to this agreement.

(2) I authorise TSFX to reproduce, distribute and use the submitted documents for the purpose of providing educational assistance to current and/or future students.

(3) I confirm that the materials being submitted have been school assessed and achieved an official A+ or A score (i.e. above 80%).

(4) I agree that the work(s) being submitted are wholly my own work.

(5) I understand that TSFX is under no obligation to accept the works being submitted and may at their discretion return these works to me without payment.

(6) I agree that any payment made by TSFX for the accepted materials is a once off payment and that no further payments will be made for the use of the submitted materials.

(7) If my work(s) is/are approved for publication, I agree not to make these resources available to any other educational institution, educational resource provider or online service.

(8) If it is found that any of the submitted materials are not my own, have been plagiarised or that I have provided false information in relation to the materials submitted and/or their allocated scores, I agree to refund the payment made by TSFX for such resources within 7 days.

(9) I indemnify The School For Excellence against any liability, loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered by The School for Excellence arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with submitting resources that infringe on copyright laws or consist of plagiarised materials.

Online Recordings (Summer School, Winter School, Final Exam Revision and Master Classes)

All recordings are the copyright property of TSFX and have been produced for the exclusive use of students given access directly by TSFX. Reproduction of the whole or part of any recording constitutes an infringement in copyright and can result in legal action. No part of any recording can be reproduced, copied, stored in a retrieval system, communicated, transmitted or disseminated, in any form or by any means, without the prior written consent of TSFX.

Terms, Conditions & Policies of Enrolment

Lecture Programs (Summer School, Winter School, VCE Exam Revision)

(1) An initial confirmation of enrolment will be sent by email following the receipt of your application/website purchase.

(2) Final confirmations, maps and theatre details will also be sent by email, one week before your first lecture. Maps and theatre details will also be posted on our Program Information page.

(3) TSFX cannot accept responsibility for emails that don’t arrive at the address you provided when completing your online enrolment. It is each applicant’s responsibility to keep TSFX informed of any changes to the given email address. To ensure that you do receive our emails, we strongly recommend that you add us to your address book or safe list ([email protected]).

(4) If you haven’t received your final confirmation email two days prior to your first enrolled lecture, you MUST contact our office to confirm your enrolment and to arrange admission into this program. Please check your SPAM FOLDERS before calling.

(5) Applications for lectures close at 8am on the day of the first lecture. Enrolment notifications and confirmations may not issue before the lecture start time. If you are enrolling on the day please contact the office via email [email protected] and advise you are a late enrolment and request confirmation details.

(6) TSFX reserves the right to alter the advertised program details, including the method of delivery and venue location. Details of any changes to this program will be sent by email, and posted on our program information pages.

(7) Where students have enrolled into yearly Lecture packages, future programs will be confirmed on your initial confirmation document as a placeholders/reservation. Approximately 6-weeks prior to the future program commencing you will receive a final confirmation with lecture dates, times and location details.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

(8) Cancellations MUST be submitted in writing at least three business days before the relevant lecture.

(9) Cancellations will incur a $20 cancellation fee per unit per subject. (Excludes Package enrolments). For cancellations of lectures that are part of a package enrolment refer below section Program Package Enrolments – Item 3)

(10) No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made after each closing date, or after subject materials have been posted and/or digital courses offered as part of the enrolment have been accessed in the case of online only sessions.

(11) No refunds or credits will be issued to those students who fail to attend their enrolled lectures or access their digital courses.

Terms, Conditions & Policies of Enrolment

Master Classes

(1) Students (applicants) are required to attend the same session for the duration of the course. Students who cannot attend their scheduled class(es) may temporarily attend a different class time, providing sufficient notice is given to the administration staff.

(2) There are no refunds for missed classes and Periodic Payment Plan applicants are required to pay for classes they have not attended. In the event that the applicant ceases attending classes, the balance of fees for the package selected will be due within a seven day period.

(3) In the event of a default by the applicant/parent/legal guardian in payment of fees when due and payable in accordance with the payment schedule, the student will not be entitled to attend classes until outstanding fees has been resolved. Late payments will incur a penalty fee of $20 per missed payment.

(4) In the event that a Periodic Plan payment falls more than 1 payment in arrears, the full course fees are payable within seven days.

(5) Periodic Plan payments will be deducted via direct debit from the given credit card/bank account on a weekly basis and on each Monday of the schedule of dates advised on your enrolment plan invoice. Payments usually commence one-week prior to the first class and are consecutive for the plan duration.

(6) The applicant/parent/legal guardian shall be responsible for any bank charges, legal costs and/or any recovery agent’s commissions on an indemnity basis incurred in the recovery of unpaid fees.

(7) Course cancellations will only be accepted in writing at least 5 business days prior to the commencement of the course.

(8) Cancellations will incur a $100 fee per subject.

(9) No cancellations will be accepted:

(i) for applications received after the start of the Master Class course, or

(ii) where books and/or “early bird” access has been provided for the preceding year’s course recordings.

(10) A full refund will be issued in the event that all positions have been filled or if the given preferences can’t be accommodated.

(11) Although every effort will be made to deliver content in line with a school’s curriculum, this may not be possible in all cases.

(12) Although every effort will be made to adhere to the advertised dates and times, TSFX reserves the right to alter session details. In the event that session details are altered, students will be promptly notified.

(13) The student agrees to adhere to the Code of Conduct detailed at https://www.tsfx.edu.au/mc.

(14) TSFX reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs, change presenters and revise program content and/or the method of delivery if necessary. In the event of changes to advertised face-to-face programs due to restrictions and risks involved with the COVID-19 pandemic and/or other government declared emergencies, the students/registrants will be given access to a live-stream and/or recording of the relevant content and programs will be rescheduled if possible.

Terms, Conditions & Policies of Enrolment

Program Package Enrolments

All Applicants:

(1) Cancellations must be provided in writing at least 5 days prior to the commencement of included enrolled lecture/program.

(2) If you choose to cancel any program included within your package, all discounts awarded by the package will be voided, and your total refund will be based on the non-discounted program fees.

(3) A fee of $100 per cancelled package/subject applies.

(4) There are no refunds for missed lectures/programs and Periodic Payment Plan applicants are required to pay for lectures/programs they have not attended.

(5) Packages may be transferred from one subject to another prior to the commencement of a given program i.e. students may attend different subjects in different lectures/programs. Transfers are subject to availability. Transfers requested after commencement of the program is at the discretion of TSFX.

(6) Although every effort will be made to adhere to the advertised dates and times, TSFX reserves the right to alter lecture/program details. In the event that session details are changed, students will be promptly notified.

Periodic Payment Applicants:

(1) The Periodic Payment option is a Direct Debit Agreement with TSFX via Stripe Payment Gateway, or Bank of Melbourne/St George Bank.

(2) Periodic Payments are not available on all products, those applicable will have a payment option available.

(3) Periodic Payment Total Fees = Upfront Payment + $50 administration fee.

(4) Late or failed payments will incur a $20 processing fee.

(5) Failed payments will be attempted 3 times and after that, will be declared as being in default.

(6) If a plan registers a default on 3 occasions, the Direct Debit Agreement will be cancelled and full payment of the balance of fees will be required within 7 days.

(7) In the event of a default by the applicant/parent/legal guardian in payment of fees when due and payable in accordance with the payment schedule, the student will not be entitled to attend lectures/programs or access the corresponding recordings until outstanding fees have been resolved.

(8) The applicant/parent/legal guardian shall be responsible for any bank charges, legal costs and/or any recovery agent’s commissions on an indemnity basis incurred in the recovery of unpaid fees.

(9) The Periodic Plan includes your initial deposit, your administration setup fee and 10 consecutive weekly payments per unit of enrolment that commence on Friday 9 February 2024 (Semester 1 – Units 1 and 3) and Friday 14 June 2024 (Semester 2 – Units 2 and 4). Payments relating only to the Unit 2 and Unit 4 enrolments will commence on Monday 10 June 2024. Payment of the $50 administration setup fee activates your direct debit setup. The weekly instalments for each semester of enrolment will commence on the two dates provided in this clause.

(10) Failure to pay the Periodic Payment Setup Fee by the due date stated on the invoice may result in your enrolment being cancelled with any and all deposit payments being forfeit.

(11) In the event that you fail to pay your initial Periodic Payment Setup Fee by the date stated in the invoice, a FINAL NOTICE invoice will be issued.  If payment of this FINAL NOTICE invoice is not made by the stated date, your Periodic Payment Plan WILL BE CANCELLED and a new invoice issued for the full upfront enrolment fees, minus any deposit paid.  Failure to pay this new invoice will result in all enrolments being cancelled with any and all related deposits forfeited.

Our Code of Conduct

The organisers of all TSFX events are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form at any event. Attendees violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from an event without a refund at the discretion of the event organisers.

Further Information

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Sexualised language, imagery or communication is not appropriate for any TSFX event, including lectures, forums, online platforms, and other online media.

Any behaviour that causes another person alarm or distress may be classified as harassment.

If an attendee is reported for engaging in harassing behaviour, or is witnessed engaging in harassing behaviour, the event organisers may take some or all of the following actions:

  • warning the reported attendee to cease their harassing behaviour
  •  expulsion of the reported attendee from the event with no refund
  • In cases of serious offending of a criminal nature, law enforcement officers will be involved.
  • If the reported attendee is attending on behalf of an employer, and is expelled from an event, the employer may be contacted regarding the reported attendee’s behaviour.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of TSFX staff immediately.

At events, TSFX staff can be identified as they’ll be wearing TSFX branded t-shirts and badges, or they will introduce themselves as event organisers at the commencement or at your arrival at the event.

Master Classes 2023 – Multi Buy Discount

All Applicants:

(1) If you choose to cancel any products/enrolments included within a multibuy discount, all previous discounts will be voided and a new discount figure will be calculated based on any remaining products/enrolments included in the discount offer.

(2) Any change to the applicable multibuy discount percentage as a result of the cancellation will be deducted from the final refund amount.

(3) There are no refunds for missed classes and Periodic Payment Plan applicants are required to pay for classes they have not attended.

(4) Multibuy discounts applied to Periodic Payment Plans are initially calculated on the deposit amount with the remaining discount owed to be deducted from the final periodic payment.

(5) Our tax invoice shows the discounted price of each product paid at time of purchase, for the purpose of refunds, recalculation of fees owed are based the full product price as outlined below:
