If you have enrolled into any of our Master Classes, you don’t need to complete the online enrolment form, and you don’t need to pay any fees to attend the VCE Exam Booster Classes in the same units & subjects.
Other Subjects:
If you would like to enrol into the VCE Exam Booster Classes in additional Unit 3 and/or 4 subjects without enrolling into the corresponding Master Classes, you’ll need to complete the online enrolment form for the other subjects you’re wanting to attend.
Investment:
Your investment in the Unit 3 and/or Unit 4 Exam Booster Classes is $159 per unit per subject. This will give you access to four 2.5 hour classes in one Unit 3 or Unit 4 subject, the corresponding examination paper, detailed solutions and unlimited access to recordings of your classes until after your end-of-year exams.

The VCE Exam Booster Classes are highly targeted courses dedicated to the mastery of examination techniques and building higher-level problem-solving/analytical skills. Due to time constraints, these important skills are rarely taught or cultivated at schools, but are essential if students are aiming for the higher VCE marks. Students attending these exam-focused classes will also learn to spot, anticipate and process exam tricks and traps and develop techniques to maximise marks in the more challenging questions that appear in exams. Significant attention will be placed on learning to recognise what information must be included in exam responses, and how to structure perfect answers that reflect the marking schemes used by VCE exam assessors to mark the VCE exams.
This unique and extremely beneficial program is an investment that every Year 11 and Year 12 student should seriously consider, and will certainly improve test and examination marks!
What Type of Student Would Benefit from the VCE Exam Booster Classes?
We believe that every student would benefit from this program, and in particular:
1. Students who are aiming for the higher VCE marks (A/A+) will find the VCE Exam Booster Classes invaluable, if not essential, to secure the
higher VCE marks.
2. Students who just want to perform to their best ability and score the highest possible marks they are able to achieve will also greatly benefit from
this program.
Irrespective of how difficult an exam paper may be, if students have the correct information, skills and strategies, there are many ways to squeeze additional marks out of an exam, increasing a C to a B and an A to A+. These skills and strategies will also be taught and expanded on in these mark-boosting classes.
Note: Marks awarded for random, but strategic steps and statements can add up quickly, and make a significant difference to your examination marks.

Commencement Date:
The Unit 1 and Unit 3 Exam Booster Classes start from Friday 11 June 2021.
The Unit 2 and Unit 4 Exam Booster Classes start from Friday 1 October 2021.
Program Duration:
Each VCE Exam Booster course consists of four 2.5 hour classes per Unit. Classes have been strategically scheduled to give school’s sufficient time to thoroughly work through course materials, before the same topics are addressed in our VCE Exam Booster Classes.

| Unit 4 Exam Booster Classes | This course consists of four 2.5 hour classes that focus on the development of strong examination skills, higher-level analytical skills and problem-solving strategies. The first 3 classes in each Unit 4 Exam Booster program will only address the topics listed in the current Unit 4 Study Design. Students will receive a trial examination paper that reflects the official VCE exams in terms of phrasing, content, structure, difficulty and the number of marks and questions that are usually assigned to each Area of Study. This paper will therefore incorporate questions that relate to both the Unit 3 and Unit 4 course. Students will sit this examination under exam conditions in the final week of the Unit 4 classes. Detailed, fully worked solutions will also be provided. |

When you enrol into the VCE Exam Booster Classes for a Mathematics or Science subject, you’ll work through hundreds of key VCE exam questions with a VCE exam assessor that has significant experience marking the official VCE exams.

In the final week of the VCE Exam Booster Classes, you will sit a trial examination under exam conditions and then watch an experienced VCE exam assessor work through the paper and construct examples of perfect answers, and mark each question using the marking schemes adopted in the VCE exams.

Why Do the VCE Exam Booster Classes Start in May when
My Exams are at the End of the Year?
It takes a lot of time and practice to develop strong examination techniques and problem-solving/ application skills. As a rough guide, if you’re aiming for a Study Score of 40 or more in a Unit 3/4 subject, you’ll need to find the time to work through at least 15 exam papers and assessment reports in each subject (30 papers in each maths subject) between now and the VCE exams. To get 85% or more (i.e. A/A+) in most Year 11 exams, you need to work through at least 7 papers, and double this number if you’re studying a maths subject.
Despite the importance of working through large numbers of exam papers, the majority of students leave this critical process to the end of the year. Most students will then, however, run out of time to revise course materials and work through the recommended number of papers, compromising their ATAR or their Year 11 marks.
It also takes time and a systematic, gradual, approach to develop the exam techniques and problem-solving/ application skills that are needed to obtain above average marks in the VCE exams.
So, if you choose to leave exam papers until you’ve completed your Unit 4 SACs (the most popular time for students to start their exam preparations), there simply won’t be enough time to learn, practice and consolidate the harder skills and techniques, even if you do manage to find the time to work the recommended number of papers.
As a result:
You won’t be able to perform to your best ability in your final exams.
If you’re aiming for the highest possible marks, it’s really important to start working through past VCE exam questions from the beginning of the year, and as each topic is covered at school.
Starting early is really the smartest time to start.
